Welcome to digitaljunkyard.com (the "Website"). By accessing or using the Website you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Website.

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of digitaljunkyard.com together with our Privacy Policy and any other notices published on the site. By browsing, registering, or transacting on the Website you confirm that you accept them in full.

2. Ownership

The Website and all of its content — unless explicitly marked otherwise — are owned by Digital Junkyard ("Digital Junkyard", "we", "us"). No part of the Website may be reproduced, republished, or redistributed without our prior written consent, save for limited personal, non-commercial use permitted by law.

3. Representations & warranties

The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the operation of the Website or the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information on it.

Listings, valuations, and metadata may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors. We disclaim, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all liability arising from such errors. Pricing and availability of digital assets can change at any time without notice.

4. Liability

Digital Junkyard, our directors, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the Website, including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of profit, or third-party claims.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. User content & indemnity

If you submit listings, comments, reviews, photographs, or any other material to the Website, you remain responsible for that content. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Digital Junkyard, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from material you upload or transmit.

We may, at our discretion, remove any user-generated content that we consider unlawful, infringing, or in breach of these Terms.

6. External websites

The Website may link to third-party websites, plug-ins, and tools. We do not control those sites and we do not endorse or accept responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Visiting linked websites is at your own risk and subject to the terms and privacy policies of those websites.

7. Intellectual property

"Digital Junkyard" and the digitaljunkyard.com brand are our trade marks. All other trade marks, brand names, product names, copyrights, and intellectual-property rights referenced on the Website belong to their respective holders. Nothing on the Website grants you a licence to use any of those marks.

8. Site changes & termination

We may change, modify, suspend, or withdraw the Website (in whole or in part) without notice. Continued use after changes are published means you accept them. We may also terminate your access to the Website at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms.

9. Complaints & takedowns

For complaints, comments, or to report content that infringes the law or third-party rights, please email us at legal@digitaljunkyard.com. We aim to respond to all reports promptly and reserve the right to remove content where appropriate.

10. VAT & tax

Domain sales are treated as a supply of services for UK VAT, taxed on the full sale value rather than the seller's margin. Where we sell our own domains directly through this Website, customers in the United Kingdom are charged UK VAT at the prevailing standard rate (currently 20%) on top of the listed sale price.

Sales to customers outside the United Kingdom are treated as outside the scope of UK VAT. Business buyers may be asked to declare the country in which they are established and, where applicable, a valid VAT number; we rely on the information you provide at checkout for the correct tax treatment of your order.

Where a domain is sold through a third-party marketplace (e.g. Sedo, Dan, GoDaddy), that marketplace acts as principal for VAT purposes and handles end-buyer VAT directly. Our supply in those cases is to the marketplace, not to the end buyer, and is taxed accordingly.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with the Website that cannot be resolved informally is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
